Kelvin,
It appears you have some kind of C-shell/Bourne-shell environment conflicts,
is this true?
You might try logging in with a Bourne shell login, and then running your
programs. This would be a "lowest-common-denominator" approach. If you
get it working in Bourne you'll probably be able to get it working in Csh.
This means setting up a .profile. Be sure to include a few of the other
environment variables mentioned in the INFORMIX documentation.
Example:
#!/bin/sh
DBPATH=/home/myaccount/senproj ; export DBPATH
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
