Buggy? Justify this assertion! > Is it just me or are you getting defensive here Jon :-) Try this for starters: Two datetime year to minute variables - 1997-07-31 15:33, 1997-08-06 10:21. Convert them to decimal using rinvtodec Convert the decimals to long (1997-08-06 10:21 will overflow. Why?) Convert the decimals to double 1997-07-31 15:33 gives you 34563813, 1997-08-06 10:21 gives you 34528941 So we just proved that 1997-07-31 15:33 > 1997-08-06 10:21 Now, you're not going to say that rinvtodec is undocumented, are you? The API is in TechInfo and the definition can be checked by nm on the esql libs. > > I've worked with Oracle's and Sybase's embedded langauges and they > > have significantly more help in this area. > > > > Well, as usual, I have been kinda forced to come up with my own set > > of date/datetime manipulation API's. > > > > Just thought I'd gripe a li'll. > > Well, now you've griped a bit, how about some constructive criticism. > Which particular operations did you find so defective?
