get sqlca by select statement

Hi, Is there any way to get the values of sqlca record using sql query? I need in java, after any sql execution get the value for ISAM ERROR into a try catch. I know that this value is into sqlca.sqlerrd[2]. Anyone can help me? tks in advance.
