Informix ODBC on AIX ??

If so I am trying to get 'connected' to the old RS6K Informix box using the ODBC drivers but nothing happens. I have done the HS.ADMIN crap and checked the .profile, authorized the ODBC License which I had to pry out of some dying Informix support fool, even though we are licensed...
