Most likely when the chunk was marked offline there were additional messages in the online log file. Possibly referring you to a /tmp/af.???? file. This file could give futher insight into why this happened. EINTR is a common error, it is when an os call was interrupted. Informix loops on the read call untill it is successful or error other than EINTR is received. TAKE A LOOK AT THE ONLINE.LOG and the AF.file...
