Stored Procs and Triggers ?

Always in search of the bleeding edge, my programmers have decided that our applications must now take advantage of stored procedures/triggers. We are planning the migration to 5.01 (RS/6000) and I'm looking for any experiences/bugs/hints anyone can give on the benefits/pitfalls of incorporating triggers into an existing 4GL application.
