DHL Worldwide Express, the largest international air express network, is seeking the following: *****Database Administrator****** Job Description: ' Logical design, physical implementation, documentation, and tuning of Informix databases on an HP9000 platform for both development and production environments. ' Design, develop, test, and document utilities to purge old data, convert data, and manage security. ' Monitoring and maintenance of existing databases. ' Production support (some after hours on-call duty). Requirements: ' 1+ years DBA experience required with Informix Online. ' 1+ years experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting programs in an Informix 4GL environment. ' 1+ years experience working in UNIX environment, HP9000 HP-UX preferred. ' Solid knowledge of Informix engine and internals. Database tuning experience required. ' Database design skills required, data modeling a plus. Education: BS Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Business related discipline or equivalent required.
