This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------AA6DA009308B1A1FD8F8E29D Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Charaka, Managed to solve the problem It was caused by the hosts.equiv file on the NT machine (which had a text association in the registry) being considerd a text file and the Workgroup server was ignoring it. Once the Windows registry was fixed it was OK. Another way to solve this problem is through a .netrc file on the client side (unix) but this is not a good solution as the password is visible.
