I would guess it creates an initial extent of 16 pages and keeps
adding extents as needed an doubling every 16 extents. Remember
adjacent extents are joined into one extent. Hence it should not be a
problem unless Online cannot allocate enough continous pages.
Once it is loaded you can set the next entent size.

Not really , you might want to go to iiug.org and look under Software,
Special Software for archecker which will MAY you to validiate your
level 0 archive. I belive this only works on certain platforms...
