One possible solution would be to do an input via a prompt "..." char p_char (or input using only one single character field and autonext) and for every character typed do the display yourself (via standard display statements, not display array, and possibly some use of the scroll statement). Another solution is to look for third party tools that can do this for you. Perhaps there is something at the IIUG site that will do it, or perhaps Franz on Island, Marco in Italy or Tim in Florida have something for you.
