Re: Error 908 - Connection Refused on remote server
Posted in 2006
I was able to get this working yesterday. After installing the client
SDK I did some testing with the ILoginDemo and DBPing utility. The
messages they generated helped point me in the right direction. I did
some double checking and realized that I had some differences between
the .cmd file they sent me and in the SQLHOSTS registry entry that I
had manually created. Once I was sure the connection was valid via
dbaccess, I was able to put together a connection string for our
application.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
