FROM TABLE(MULTISET( In HDR

Hello Group,
Question regarding executing a statement like the following:
SELECT ... FROM TABLE(MULTISET(SELECT What, You, Wanted FROM WhereEver))
It does not seem to work on a read-only server participating in HDR. Flavor
is 10.0 UC4
Wondering the following:
Why does it not work, read only I get, but this is creating an in memory
construct and isn't physically creating anything?
Isn't using a statement like this going to be more efficient than creating a
temp table as in memory operations are going to be faster than writing to a
physical device (a la temp tables...)?
Is there a configuration setting or workaround that will allow me to use the
TABLE(MULTISET( statements on my read only server?
As always, thanks in advance for your time and kind assistance.
Tam.
What error message are you getting?

This is a known limitation and a workaround is documented in the
release notes :
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Limitation on Using Complex Types in HDR Environments
Queries involving complex data types (like LIST, SET, or MULTISET, or
named or unnamed ROW types), might fail against the secondary server in
an HDR environment. A workaround is to run the same query on the
primary
server first, and then on the secondary server.
