dbdiff II - call for beta testers
Posted in 1994
Folks, Inspired by Dave Snyder I have whipped up a dbdiff look alike. This generates the SQL necessary to bring one version of a database in tune with another. It differs from the original dbdiff in that it handles synonyms and generates a single ALTER TABLE for each table changed. It does not yet handle indices - next week. I am looking for anybody who is interested in testing it. Especially those with mixed environments (Online/SE). (Dave? Alan?). cheers j. _____________________________________________________________________________ Jack Parker | Hewlett Packard, BSMC Boise, Idaho, USA| jparker@hpbs3645.boi.hp.com | "A mind is a terrible thing."
