esql error -55926

When I use setnet32 connect win95 and sco unix(IDS7.23), ILOGIN is correct. When I use esql -e demo1.ec,it's right.Then I use esql -o demo1 demo1.ec, it says '-55926, unable to spawn compiler',how can I set c++ compiler to PATH? Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Can you run cc yourself at the commandline? What does 'cc -V' return? If it says 'cc not found' that's your the problem. If your C compiler is NOT cc try setting the environment variable INFORMIXC to the name of your C compiler driver. If that works you can edit the esql script to make that the default (search for INFORMIXC and replace 'cc' after ':-' with your compiler). Art S. Kagel
