Powerbuilder works fine with both native and ODBC connections to informix. If using native, use PB 5.0.3 or greater, so that you can specify hostname@servername as a connection parameter for server (to avoid changing the default informixserver for each connection). Connection parameters / settings are covered very well in the database reference manual in PB. There are some quirks to watch out for - datetime precision has been a problem, DisableBind needs to be used in some cases where an error occurs (or a serial value is not returned properly).
