You can try by creating a LVM use as a raw device. I have experienced =
using hp-ux 10.10. its running well. It's only for logical log b/u and =
archive level 1.

Subject: Logical-log backup strategy
Hello. I'd like to backup my logical logs to disk. I'm thinking of
using ontape for backups and it also looks desirable to do continuous
logical-log backups. Is continuous backup to disk doable? Would it
be better to just mirror the volume where the backup files would go?
Thanks,
Seth
