I'm not going to put my balls on the block and say this is not a bug, but my quess is that THIS IS NOT A BUG. The precision of current is determined by the operating system. Some OS's do not support the calls Informix use, therefore Informix sets the time every second. In version 7.00 you can switch this function on and off with the configuration parameter USEOSTIME (or some such name). 0=off, 1=on.
