Re.ontape error

Hello Everybody, Env: IDS 9.30 UC3, AIX 5.1. P660 & P610 IBM boxes (90 chunks DB size 180 GB). We moved Informix database from SSA disks to fiber disk via ontape backup/restore, everything went fine no problem. After a week we added couple of chunks to it and drop some unused dbspaces and bounce IDS one or two times no problem, 2/3 days later we took the archive on P660 and tried to restore on P610 and the archive doesn't work, it displays all the chunk information and one junk line which is not readable and then it says bad tape. Took the backup by the following ways but no luck same error: 1) Backup on a tape 2) Backup on a file under a specific directory and lateron did NFS mount to P610 3) Changed block/tape size If we create a another instance on P660 & P610 and restore it on same box it works fine, we also tried to move the same archive and restored on P610 it worked. The above tests eliminates NFS,Informix installation and ontape, somehow Informix is corrupting the archive file which is created. Working with Informix tech support from last 2 days no luck.
