INFORMIX 7.x bechmarks on small systems

Hi everybody, My company is INFORMIX VAR and the issue I'm interested in is INFORMIX versus ORACLE on small PowerPC AIX servers (RS/6000 model 250, 32M RAM, max 64M) and maybe other platforms with small memory. We've tried to run some tests of Oracle at our customers site with demo versions, and the feeling is that INFORMIX runs much faster, but because we do not have experience with Oracle we may have missed something. On the other hand - we are not professional benchmarkers and in Lithuania there is nobody who could help. There are no funds for this activity either. I'm interested in any formal data (technical analysis - why faster, benchmark results, ANYTHING) that could confirm our "feeling". The application which is being considered will have 15-20 small servers scattered across Lithuania and will be connected to one central server which will have centrally maintained registers (THAT IS on Oracle already).
