That's an oblique reference to the recent attempt by Christian Conservatives in the state of Virginia who wanted to pass legislation to ban the wearing of low-slung jeans. They object to the current fashion which reveals the top two inches of the wearers underwear such as boxer shorts in the guys, or presumably a g-string in the girlies. This is the fashion with the terminally young of certain cultures for the last few years. Surely you heard of this farcical political stunt on your own news services? > If you want or need a platform, you've got it. But what it has to do > with my name... I'm at a loss. In fact, I'm thoroughly disgusted. Well I hope the misunderstanding of my misunderstanding of your name is now cleared up. The internet offers so many clever witty anonymous handles, it's sometimes hard to distinguish the straight from the crooked. Years ago I should have taken a leaf from the Clowns guidebook, and used an anonymous nickname. But what can you do? I'm stuck forever in google's servers. > I've read of your interest in beer and wine and considered looking > you up when I get to Oz, but, based on what I've seen here... I think > I'll pass. You'd probably be disappointed even if you hadn't been disgusted now. I'm quite boring really. If you know my personality (which probably hasn't been seen in this forum for quite a while) then you should know that I'm a joker but generally try to care. Also, I've had a name change. I don't want to pass on a stupid surname to my happy little boy. So finding me might be slightly tricky. Then again, most likely not. PS - I'm touched that you think I'm worth looking up on a visit to gords own country. I hope you like gardening and changing nappies - they're my most recent hobbies. The new house is too hot to brew beer, which is a huge tragedy. I'm thinking of trying the stainless steel 5L stills that are available these days... Now I really must go home. We return you to your normal services. Oh yeah, apologies too.

FWIW, way back when, I did a Google search on 'June Hunt'. Found a couple of references to a woman who was supposed to be married to Mike. (Put the name together, if you haven't already done so.) You'll see why I added my middle initial. I wanted to be sure to distinguish myself from that other June Hunt. Of course, I had no idea that I was setting myself up for darn near the same thing. I suppose I should thank you for the education. Though I now need to decide if I should keep the middle initial. Maybe you've got the right idea. Maybe I'll just completely change my name. Now - to find a "safe" one... June
