Replication of limited data

I have a need to replicate limited data changes that occur in a database to a second database. The two databases reside on the same machine. For example when 100 of the 500 tables in database "A" change (through an update, insert, or delete) I would like to replicate those changes in database "B", but I do not want to replicate changes made to the other 400 tables. Also, when changes are made on database "B" I do NOT want the changes replicated back to database "A". Essentially database "B" is a subset of database "A". Two different groups of users will access the two databases. I believe I can do this with triggers, but am wondering if there is an easier way.
