Inserting into IUS with MIperl text with newlines.

First of all: IRIX 6.4 256MB RAM IUS 9.12UC2 The MI-perl interface appears to work fine, but I am having this small problem: I have some preformatted body text which I am looking to insert into the database using the perl interface. When I try to do this I get error -202. Before we run the query we do an: execute procedure ifx_allow_newline('t');and this appears to present a problem, I think that I need to use a call(); instead of the execute procedure.
