Hope this is the right group, I am currently using ESQL/C. Could any one provide me some data regarding performance between using the prepare/execute or hard coded sql statement for inserting data on the client/server unix system. I am talking about a large bulk of data! Which would give the best performance and why. I would greatly appreciate your comments. Thanks, Scott-Gaithersburg, Maryland.
