You would not get any true GUI functionality. The most desirable route would be Informix-NewEra, partly because of its superior functionality and partly because of its migration path. Well, for *some* of your code: be prepared to have to have quite a re-work done on your existing character-based code; many of the things that you could do in 4GL simply don't have an equivalent in the Windows environment.
