If you still need this email me directly and I will send a program that I have written, printfree, which walks the chain of bitmaps belonging to a table to classify the pages allocated to the table as full, partial, index, empty. One could easily add an inner loop to examine the individual pages described in the bitmap. Briefly, slot #2 on the tablespace tablespace page points to any SPECIAL columns (varchar, blob) if the length of slot #2 is >0 there are SPECIAL columns in the table and the bitmaps are 4bit bitmaps describing 4032 data pages if zero the bitmap is 2bit describing 8064 data pages. The extent list starts in slot #5 and the pages described in each bitmap page cross extents. The next bitmap page is found 4032 or 8064 pages after the current bitmap, ie following the pages described in the current bitmap. Again let me know if you want the source to printfree. Art S. Kagel
