Data Replication & Service Guard

All, Scenario Server1 is running and is replicated on Server3. Server1 crashes and due to having Service Guard software in place immediately switches to Server2. Server two should then sync with Server3 leaving us in the same state as we were before any failures. However the sync fails and we are left with Server 2 not replicated. When we restore Server 1 and resync it with Server 3 it all works no problem Has anyne heard of or been in a similar situation to this ?? Cheers Lee
