A Quick Method To Load Files

Hello, I need to load a 250 MB database (SE) from ASCII files. Using dbload is too slow even creating the indexes after the load. Does an ESQL/C or 4GL program perform better?. I mean, a program that can read ASCII files and insert the data. If anyone knows a better way to do it please post it. Thank you very much in advance. Agostino Brunamontini SRD. Rome. Italy.
