In MS outlook 2000 - Tools/Options/Mail Format/Plain text If You reply in outlook to Mime message, it automatically replys in mime. To change - Format /Plain Text -Yes. In Mozilla - Edit / Preferences /Mail &newsgroups/ Send format / When replying to MIME, Outlook does not put > in front of previous mail, so threads loose a lot of their meaning.
