Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

IMHO, your question is too general. Monitoring tools are mainly onstat (and
oncheck to check for disk structures). I would take a quick look at the
online log (onstat -m) and do an onstat -p for profile information and post
these here for help.

Does any one have any information or experience with upgrading for Informix
4.1.2 to Informix 7.2.4 in one shot? I'm not an Informix person but am an
Oracle DBA trying to assist a group using Informix database on a Pyramid
OS.
I am aware of the architecture changes in Informix 7 but can any one
provide
information about the system requirements for Informix 7? They performed a
live system test the other day that brought the system to its knees.
Also, do you know of any database utilities that can be used to monitor the
system and I/O contention on the database?
thanks in advance!
