Survey: Interested in Perl, DBD::Informix?

We have had a question about starting a SIG focused on Perl and interfacing to the Informix Online and IDS environments. Perl-based web applications are typically 80x to 100x faster that the equivalent Visual Basic client -- even working in conjunction with a remote network web server. We're looking at a forum focused on latest in Perl / Informix development, implementation ideas, conventions and help aimed at Web/CGI/Perl developers that interact with Informix' databases and connectivity options. If you think this is a good idea, please send your ideas and support to larry@iiug.org or ltimmins@optonline.net. Looking for approximately 50 interested forum members to start this new SIG. Larry T.
