backups....

i have just inherited support of about 10 machines configured and backed up in a multitude of ways.... - all running some form of INFORMIX 5.0 - mixture of SUNS and Pyramids i am looking for a script i can run out of cron to backup to disk any DB that has had any activity that day.(dbexport or tbunload ??) we have some scripts now that do a "crude" dbexport of all the DBs. i began to hack one of my own but then figured that this problem had to have been solved numerous times before. thanks for your help, jim page any FAQ or archive site? _______________________________________________________________________________ James H.
