Informix access concurrency in MT environment

Hello, We have previously designed a shared library in HP-UX 9.04 (Position Independent Code), with esql/C. We want to port our shared library in multi-threaded environment HP-UX 10.20 As a result, our shared library will be called by threads at approximately the same time (whereas previoulsy calls were made in a FIFO queue). To do so, we will use multi-thread esql/C tool. As a result, access concurrency will be more critical and I want to know if informix access concurrency will have to be handled specifically when multi-thread esql/C is used instead of esql/C shared ?
