Look at the first three bytes of the file. The first byte is 0x01. The second and third bytes give you the p-code version: 0x0006 => p-code version 6 (1.10.03) 0x0007 => p-code version 7 (4.00) 0x0008 => p-code version 8 (4.10, 4.11, 4.12, 4.13) 0x0009 => p-code version 9 (NewEra 1.x, 2.x) 0x000A => p-code version 10 (6.00, 6.01) 0x019E => p-code version 414 (4.14, 4.15) 0x025A => p-code version 602 (6.02, 6.03) 0x0014 => p-code version 20 (NewEra 3.x) Yours, Jonathan Leffler (johnl@informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> >From: John Brown <johnb@rmy.emory.edu> >Date: 14 Dec 1995 10:01:43 GMT >X-Informix-List-Id: <news.19673> > >Is there any way to tell what version of pcode is in a 4gi file without >attempting to run the program with fglgo? > >John Brown Amgen Ltd
