behaviour of isread() after isdelcurr()
Posted in 1996
The C-ISAM Programmer's Manual states for isread() function: 9. If you use isread with ISCURR or ISNEXT after you have added a record with iswrite, isread returns the record that you just added. Fine. But what does it return if I use isread with ISNEXT or ISPREV after I have deleted a record with isdelcurr ? I would expect it to return the record that was following (respectively preceeding) the record that I just deleted. Can I assume this behaviour ? -- \\\\\\\\ //// (o o) (o o) +----------oOO--(_)--OOo--------------------oOO--(_)--OOo----------+ | mailto:O.Miakinen@frcl.bull.fr Phone: 33 (1) 30 80 70 42 | | http://www-ism.bull.com/ism Fax: 33 (1) 30 80 79 18 | +-------------(_)-(_)--------------------------(_)-(_)-------------+
