Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience or pointers they can give on
converting Oracle Forms based and PL/SQL based applications to other
environments so they could be used with Informix IDS for instance ?
Are there any third party tools out there which would help with
conversions ?
Have any of you done this type of work - how painful was it ? and was
it successful ?
If you need more specific details of the application(s) involved I can
supply this detail also.
Thanks for any information you can provide.

IBM has a conversion tool (MTK) which should help with this.
