What !? I was counting on this and other features to convince to upgrade to IDS 10... :( well other's features are enough to upgrade ) But Hendrik, Why do you need your query to have rownumbers? Maybe the new SKIP, LIMIT (Syn. for FIRST) expressions in the SELECT clause that filters the rows returned by the engine could help you. J. PS: If SKIP, LIMIT, FIRST are implemented in the SELECT clause then ROWNUMBER implemenation should be easy... Maybe in UC4 this feature could be implemente... Art S.
