Why not do the reports inside a foreach loop (or 2)? The outer loop gets the key fields (say, states) then does START REPORT to "Some-concatenated-file-name" The inner loop gets all the detail rows and feeds the report. Then FINISH REPORT fred END FOREACH # outer loop OK, they're running sequentially but you get all 50 using the one report code block and the output goes to 50 separate files. Alternatively, send to printer or pipe. I know this works because I do it all the time with corporate data. We have a node company with maybe 150 reporting companies. We want to report on all. The report program is the same; we just build the output name from the company name. Peter Wiley
