Table split into separate server and instance

If I have an Employee table with the following fields :-
1) Employee Id
2) Name
3) Address
4) Tel.no.
5) DOB
6) EPF No.
7) Password
8) Salary
I want to split the table into 2 and make them reside on 2 different
servers, server A(10.50.1.250) and server B(10.50.1.251)
Table A Table B
------- -------
1) Employee Id 1) Employee Id
2) Name 2) EPF No.
3) Address 3) Password
4) Tel.no. 4) Salary
5) DOB
Is it feasible to do this ? If yes, how would my SELECT statement
looks like when selecting from 2 different servers(instances) by
joining these 2 tables ?
If SELECT can't do that. What other way can I retrieve all fields from
these 2 tables ?
I assume I can't do such SELECT in dbaccess and isql. Am I right ?
Thank you.

You can split them (create two tables, then populate them) and you can
join them
in one select - however do not expect the performance to be any good if
these tables
are huge. Hint: any column in Informix can be expresses as
"database@instance:tablename.column"
