Transactions as well, so a that you could have (something like): BEGIN WORK; {some sql} SAVE SESSION AS :id; {client hangs up} ... {client reconnects}; RESTORE SESSION :id; {some more sql} COMMIT WORK; It'd need, or you'd want, a timeout, I suppose. -- rh
