I would like to change my sqlhosts setting for local connections from onsoctcp to onipcshm for performance. Whenever I change it, my users start to get errors that it cannot find netsrv.iem when utilization is heavy only (more than 50 users or so). I've had this problem since OnLine DS 7.X (we now run 9.13). Informix TS suggested putting symbolic links in /usr/informix and /usr/informix/bin. We had our NETTYPE at 3,600,CPU (too high I know) and still errors when utilization is high. Any ideas? Tim Porreca
