Hi there,
I have got this error "Cannot create/access database on NFS mount. "
(-957 Code ERROR) when I try to connect to INFORMIX SE 7.10 (running
on Solaris 2.4) from a PC using INFORMIX ODBC driver.
sqlhosts file on Solaris 2.4 is:
betatcp setlitcp beta betatcp
/etc/services on Solaris 2.4 is:
betatcp 1529/tcp
I started as a daemon, from user root (on Solaris 2.4):
sqlexecd betatcp
To test the configuration I succesfully connected to betatcp
from another UNIX machine using
dbaccess. With this tool I connected to betatcp and I created
a database and one table.
But when I try to connect from ODBC on PC I've got the error -957
(Cannot create/access database on NFS mount.).
Instead if I try to connect to an INFORMIX DYNAMIC SERVER (running
on another UNIX machine), I have no problem and I can exec any SQL
statement.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Michele Dati
