Hey Robin - see my discussion thread I started on July 13, 13:18 I have the same software and same OS- these are some common pitfalls I encountered set NUMAIOVPS to 1 if you're using raw devices - Solaris 2.6. seems to need this set INFORMIXDIR to a valid DBSERVERNAME , not the hostnameget status of shared memory with ipcs, remove old hanging processes / segments with ipcrm ROOTOFFSET remains 0 can't think of more right now Good luck Knut Robin Kearney schrieb: > I have the following installed on a Solaris 2.6 machine.
