control-x not working

Hi everybody, We just move from digital platform to compaq sco unix and our server is online engine ver 5 .Since the move I noticed that while using control-x for deleting a character within ISQL it is not working .I have checked the terminal setting and the login profile ..they look ok...any suggestions?
