If you do a tbstat -u during a tbcheck -pe, your process should not be holding any resources (latches/locks). You can verify this using tbstat -sk. Depending on how big your database is, your tbcheck may take a while as it does sorting (look in /tmp or DBTEMP for file '$$.extents' or '$$.EXTENTS'). Unless you are encountering a bug, tbcheck -pe should not lock up tables or corrupt blobs. Other tbchecks will lock up tables however. ##################################################################### David Nguyen \\\\\\|||/// ---------- Internet: david_nguyen@notes.pw.com . ======= / Uh... \\ Price Waterhouse / \\| O O | / Just restore \\ 3110 Fairview Park Dr \\ / \\v_'/ <- from tape. / Suite 300 # _| |_ \\ / Falls Church, VA 22042 (#) ( ) ---------- (703) 641-5597 #\\//|* *|\\\\ #\\/( * )/ # ===== Not responsible for my stupid # (\\ /) mistakes.
