Better believe it. In order to access data in different databases the logging must be turned off or on on all databases involved. Paul Watje watjep@hasting.com ---------- From: ilist To: informix-list Subject: Transaction Logging Multi-DB Date: Sunday, June 11, 1995 3:22PM When using multiple databases and transaction logging is needed only for one(db A), does logging need to be "on" for the other(db B)? The application programs running in db A do lookups in db B, and vice versa. We were told that for the "cross lookups" to work, logging must be "on" for both databases. Is this true?
