variable array sizes ???

In 4gl You can define an array of records with static bounds: X ARRAY [40] OF RECORD LIKE .... What, when You a priori don't know how large this array must be? This array may be a target of a SELECT with variable count of records found. All found records should be displayed at the screen (DISPLAY ARRAY), but the number can be 1 or 5000. I think it's necessary to declare a cursor "WITH HOLD" and to check the key-codes. But this seems to be a hard work. Does anyone knows a chic solution? Thanks Dieter Becker
