Intersolv ODBC very slow

Hi, I'll try to use the Intersolv-ODBC 3.11.0007 (32-Bit on NT 4.0) and Informix CLI 2.80 32 Bit to connect to Informix SE on HPUX. The connection is ok, but it's very slow and I'll get many disc trouble while get the result from an select statement. Config-problem ? How to solve ? Best regards Dirk Niemeier
