in google search i found something like this "No casts exist for CLOB data. Therefore, the database server cannot convert data of the CLOB type to any other data type and vice versa. Within SQL, you are limited to the equality (=) comparison operation for CLOB data" so i wrote a query selet t1.x,t2.y from t1,t2 where t1.clob_column = t2.varchar_column1 || t2.varchar_column2 but the query fails with following error Routine (equal) can not be resolved. can any one help me
Solution working for me..... selet t1.x,t2.y from t1,t2 where (t1.clob_column)::lvarchar = (t2.varchar_column1 || t2.varchar_column2 ) please suggest if you have any alternatives.....
