You could turn on debugging in your $ONCONFIG
by setting BAR_DEBUG to 9 and BAR_DEBUG_LOG.
This might give you a clue what is happening.
What versions of TSM, TDP/Informix and IDS are you
using and on what platform ?
Have you enabled the COMPRESS option in TSM ?
What are the settings of BAR_XFER_BUF_SIZE and
BAR_NB_XPORT_COUNT ?
What are the contents of your $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sm_versions file ?
Normally the combination Informix/TSM works quite well.
Best regards
Eric
