About a year ago we had a 7.11 system running on a 8 way t500 at hpux
10.01. We started crashing every hour or so out of virtual shared
memory once the system was turned up for production. Our problem was
the 7.11 tapes were for hp 9.04 not 10.x. Once we installed the right
tapes the problem went away. Another thing is if you are taking extra
virtual segments on a 7.x system the onmode -F will release any that
are no longer used for reuse.
